Prince William and Kate plan royal wedding

Prince William and Kate Middleton have posed for photographs at Buckingham Palace and talked about their engagement for the first time since the news was made public. The couple are set to marry in either the spring or summer of 2011 after Prince William proposed last month. Prince William and Kate Middleton have been sent many congratulatory messages with David Cameron calling the news “a great day for our country”. Sources at St James’s Palace said the Prince and Miss Middleton had have been meeting with staff of the Royal Household and other members of the Royal family discussing arrangements for next year’s ceremony. Miss Middleton’s parents, Michael and Carole, and Government ministers have also been closely involved in the talks, and a spokesman for the Prince said an announcement on the precise details of the wedding would be made “in due course”.
